The Labour Party (LP), governorship candidate Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata, has cast his vote in the ongoing election in Edo State.
While addressing newsmen after casting his vote at his polling unit in Oredo, the Labour Party candidate, said he was confident he would win.
Speaking further, Akpata noted that he is impressed with the turnout, which he described as impressive.
According to the Labour Party governorship candidate, his victory is certain in the election because the people of Edo are hungry for change.
He said, “I am impressed with the turnout. The people are hungry for change. I am hoping that those who are superintending the process should allow the will of the people to prevail.”
Asked if he was confident of victory, he said, “We’ve got this one.”
