A medical doctor, identified as Idara Bassey, has finally been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command following the death of a 36-year-old lady Abiola during a butt enlargement surgery.
Raye24reporters report that the police had declared the doctor wanted after the incident at a clinic in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State.
Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman for the command confirmed her arrest on Wednesday.
It would be recalled that Abiola had on August 26, visited the clinic for the butt enlargement procedure which later led to her untimely death.
Her driver subsequently reported the incident at the Maroko Police Division but the doctor fled.
Meanwhile, Bassey is currently undergoing investigation at the State Criminal Investigation Department in Panti.
