Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has met with the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) and a former Minister of Environment, Amina Jane Mohammed.
The wife of the President met with Mohammed on the sideline of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, the United States.
In a post via her official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Mrs Tinubu said they had a fruitful discussions about the Nigerian Woman and how the United Nations can further lend a helping hand to achieve enhanced economic empowerment, social investment and improved health care delivery for women in particular.
The First Lady said she is looking forward to result oriented partnerships with the UN in these areas mentioned above.
She wrote: “I had the pleasure of receiving in audience Amina Jane Mohammed, the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations.
We had very useful discussions about the Nigerian Woman and how the United Nations can further lend a helping hand to achieve enhanced economic empowerment, social investment and improved health care delivery for women in particular.
