The Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs (FMSDIGA) has rescheduled the date advertised for the collection of instruments of National Honours Award.
This was contained in an advert notice placed in the Nations Newspaper signed by the Director Press of the Ministry on behalf of the Permanent Secretary.
This change in schedule counteracts the earlier advertised notice in the Nations Newspaper of 28 May, 2023 which enjoined award recipients to come to the Ministry’s Office at the Federal Secretion for collection of the instruments of National Honours Award. The notice reads in part: “Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Ministry, the date for the collection of instruments of the award as State above is not feasible. A new date for the collection of the instruments of the award will be communicated to concerned recipients in due course. All award recipients are to send copies of their citations/resumes to the Secretary National Honours Award Committee, Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs (FMSDIGA) on or before 9th June, 2023. The soft copies should be sent to following e-mail addresses: umaruahmadu82@yahoo.com; doobisag@yahoo.com”.
Other Information required of the recipients include a bio data of the recipient, citation and biography as well as a passport photograph. For this, the ministry apologizes for the inconvenience this change of date might have caused award recipients.
