The Nagarta political Group has endorsed the former Jigawa state commissioner of Justice Alhaji Sani Hussaini Garingabas, as gubernatorial candidate in 2023 general election in the state under All Progressive Congress (APC), urging him to go for the party’s governorship ticket.
This was contained in a communique issued to newsmen after a meeting by the group in Dutse.
While reading the communique, the Chairman of the political group, Nasiru Muhammad (Card reader) said, 90 percent of the group members including the executives have agreed on the call.
He said the Nagarta Group has deliberated on six people and found Garingabas as the most suitable qualified and reliable candidate to take Jigawa state to the next level of social and economic development if elected.
“Our group has carefully read Garingabas political /professional profile and track records as former state Antony General under ANPP and APC state government as well as other positions he held within and outside the state which proved he is equal to the task.
“Garingabas knows government, governance and Jigawa state, his kind of experience, patriotism and qualities is what is needed of the next Jigawa state Governor, not money or sweet mouth of an individual.”
Malam Nasiru, however, narrated that when Garingabas served as AG of the state, he introduced many judicial reforms and policies which made judicial services reliable and accessible to every one in the state irrespective of their geographical location or economic status.
Meanwhile, the group have expressed their confidence that if Garingabas (SAN), clinched the APC ticket, the party will win the state Governorship election with a wide margin as the man is tested and trusted among Jigawa state teeming electorates.
