Incessant Heavy downpours has destroyed and flooded many communities in Malam madori local government area of Jigawa state.
The heavy downpour which started around 3:00 am till dawn has destroyed many houses and flood has taken over schools in the areas.
Some of the affected areas are Kampala quarters, Tudun Ghana as many communities were flooded with water.
The Local education secretary Isah Muhammad who confirmed the incident, said that majority of schools were flooded with water like Kadawa primary school and others.
Meanwhile, in some part of Garun-gabas area the rainfall destroyed many houses too as many communities flooded with water and seeking assistance.
The legislative leader of Malam Madori local government council Sadi Ibrahim Maitafsiri has directed all councillors to report any incidence affecting their communities with immediate effect.
The council chairman of Malam madori local government Hussain Umar Bk, has paid a visit to communities affected with rainfall disaster and pledge to take necessary action to forestall future occurrence.
