American film actor and musician, Lance Solomon Reddick, has been confirmed dead.
Reddick was famous for his role as Baltimore police lieutenant Cedric Daniels in the hit TV show ‘The Wire’. He was also featured in the popular series by Keanu Reeves, ‘John Wick’.
Reports obtained by Naija News revealed that Reddick died on Friday, March 17 at the age of 60. It was gathered that the actor was found dead at his home in the Studio City area of Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, Reddick passed away suddenly on Friday morning. His death is suspected to be of natural cause,

But it was for his role on “The Wire” that he became best known.
The HBO show, which ran for five seasons, followed a narcotics division pitting their wits against the city’s powerful drug gangs. With its complex writing and gritty casting, “The Wire” is often cited as one of the best-ever TV shows.
Reddick is survived by his wife Stephanie Reddick, and children Yvonne Nicole Reddick and Christopher Reddick, his publicist said.
