If I Say Anything, Let Me Die – VDM Tells House of Rep Members

Popular social media influencer, Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM) has refused to say a word during his appearance at House of Representatives.

According to him, he would not say a word due to the absence of cross-dresser Bobrisky and the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the scheduled hearing.

The lower legislative chamber had summoned VDM, Bobrisky, and the EFCC boss over allegations of a ₦15 million bribe.

However, the crossdresser was represented by his lawyer and refused to make a personal appearance.

Speaking at the National Assembly complex, VDM vowed not to make any statement until the other parties were present, saying, “If I say anything, let me die.”

Recall that in an audiovisual post on his official social media handles, VDM shared a recording allegedly featuring Bobrisky’s voice, in which the cross-dresser reportedly claimed to have paid EFCC officials N₦15 million to drop a money laundering charge against him in April of this year.

This and other claims in the post sparked widespread reactions across the country.

In response, the lawmakers summoned the involved parties, but only VDM appeared.
