If Wike Said He Attempted To Bribe Me Not To Leave PDP, Won’t That Be Against His Ethics? – Abaribe

There are indications that the political feud between the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, and a former member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Abaribe would linger for a long time, as the latter questioned the Rivers governor’s integrity.

Reports had revealed that Wike recounted how Abaribe allegedly dumped the PDP for the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), after he had offered him money not to take such step.

However, the lawmaker, who took a swipe at Wike, asked that would it not be against the ethics of the Rivers Governor to bribe someone not to leave his party? He mentioned how improper it is for the Rivers Governor to inform the general public about his attempt to give bribe.

Abaribe, who spoke on Arise Television, said he could not be bribed. He mentioned that people do not take Wike serious anymore, because the Rivers Governor is fond of making false accusations.
