Politicking in Nigeria is thickening everyday as we approach 2023 general election. Both physically and on social media, supporters of different candidates are campaigning and drumming for support.
Aisha Yesufu, a staunch political activist wrote on her verified Twitter account that people need to focus more on canvassing for support for their own candidate instead of attacking other candidate.
Her post reads: “If you truly believe that Peter Obi’s supporters are wasting their time & Peter Obi can’t win, why are you not happy for your candidate? Are you sure it is the supporters you are concerned about or you are trying to convince yourself that your choice is the only choice you have?”
