The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, is set to conduct a supplementary election in five local government areas of Jigawa state
The resident electoral officer in the state professor Wada told journalist in an interview, noted that supplementary election for national Assembly would be conducted in six polling unit of Gumel and Maigatari Local Government areas respectively .
He explained further that election would also be held for state Assembly in Dutse at7 polling units, Birnin kudu six polling unit and Yankwashi local government respectively.
The professor said the commission has deployed all the needed material both sensitive and non sensitive materials to elections centres for the conducts of the exercise .
Explained that 111 adhock staffs have been deployed to discharge the activities adding that there was no any statistical significance that could be shown to indicate any nullification on the conduct of the past election
