An Pan Nigerian Activist, Barr Maurice Ebam, has advocated for a female President in 2023.
Barr Ebam who has always spoken in favour of gender equality posited that time time for the country to produce a female President in the 2023 general elections.
According to him, “The change we truly need in Nigeria and clamour for will come in the strangest of places and the most unlikely of gender, the woman folk.
“It’s time to give women a chance. A female President.
“Once Nigeria elects a female President, this would be a turning point in our history because women all over the world have proven to be better leaders than men.
“The elections of Her Excellency Princess ChiChi Ojei under the platform of Allied Peoples Movement (APM) will be an opportunity for the first time that Nigerian women will band together in one voice to support a female Presidential candidate.
“To run a nation as Nigeria we need a leader of sound mind, passion, vision, strong character, competence, courage, capacity and to a great extent all these qualities are found in a competent woman the only female Presidential candidate in the forth coming 2023 elections under the platform of Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
“She is s pioneer of the second generation of leaders in Nigeria changing the narrative and leading a nationwide movement of dynamic youths and women who are leading the change for a better Nigeria.
“When Elected President of Nigeria, as a woman, Her Excellency Princess ChiChi Ojei, realizes that it is a man’s world and this would make her prove her worth that a woman can succeed in a man’s world and would be respected amongst world leaders. She would be firm and committed
“As a woman, her Excellency will also be compassionate, she will feel for the poor and vulnerable Nigerians now that Nigeria has overtaken to be the world poorest nation.
“We are looking for competent leaders while advocating for gender parity and competence regardless of age or gender.”
