A Nigerian clergywoman has said that is not the duty of women to love their husbands because it was not in the bible.
In a video that has since gone viral, Prophetess Ijeoma Ezenekwe who was speaking in church, said wives have no right to love their partner as it is an error.
She said they are supposed to marry someone they can submit to and honour whereas the man has the prerogative to love their women.
Ezenekwe told female members of her congregation that it is wrong for them to say ‘I cannot marry him because I don’t love him.’
According to the prophetess, men need honour and not love and as such ladies they need is honour. The pastor said it is the love a man shows a woman that makes her to submit.
