Jigawa State Government is to establish 200 adult Nomadic classes to improve the Fulani educational standard in the state.
This development was disclosed by the executive secretary Jigawa Nomadic education Hajia Ramatu Muhd in an interview with our correspondent in the state.
She explained that the establishment of the 200 classes fallowed the demand indicated by fulani groups for them to be educated.
Adding that based on this reason the state government approved the establishment of such schools at various locations in the state.
She explained further that governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has approve the classes as adult Islamic centres with a view to address illiteracy among Fulani nomads in the state.
Hajiya Ramatu stated that the Jigawa state government will sponsor 100 Fulani girls to secondary education with all transition package in an effort to encourage girl child of Nomadic to acquire wester and Arabic educational
