Jigawa Housing Authority to Build 1000 Units in Five Emirates

    The Jigawa State Housing Authority, has proposed to construct 1000 housing unit in the state with a view to Reduced the shortage of Acomadation to civil servant

    The Managing Director of Jigawa State Housing Authority, Alh Sale Abubakar stated this in an exclusive Interview with our correspondent in his office.

    “We proposed to build 500 Housing units in the state Capitals Dutse and 100 housing units at each Emirates in the state and 100 housing to be constructed at kafin Hausa for the university staff to acquire acommodation that will enable them to stay at their working place .

    He explained that already the proposal has been sent to Jigawa State Government for approval and the projects will be constructed by individual construction companies.

    Adding that the old proposal for marging communities togather to establish modern town is still on existence to provide houses in a rural areas at affordable prices.

    According to Abubakar, the housing Authority will review the cost of the past projects with Intention to meet the 12 point agenda of Governor Umar Namadi, who has promised to provide standard acommodation at subsidise price for the people.

    Speaking further, the Managing Director, confirmed that two bed room detached and 3 bed room bingerlow is to be constructed under housing projects across the five Emirates in the state in which Hadejia Emirate will benefit 200 housing units.

    He explained that 100 housing units will be constructed in Hadejia town, 100 in Kafin Hausa for university staff and 300 will be constructed at Kazaure Ringim, and Gumel.

    Furthermore, the Chairman, noted that the management will go round the five Emirates and Kafin Hausa to supervise the location site were the houses are to be constructed for the ministry to allocate the land to start up the projects.

    Meanwhile, he further explained that mosques, green parks, schools, markets, and other facilities will be built within the promises of each of the100 housing units that is to be constructed across the five Emirates in the state.
