As part of activities leading up to the yuletide, the Honourable Minister of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, Zaphaniah Jisalo, received party stalwarts who came to felicitate with him over the yuletide.
The Minister who is an acclaimed grassroots man said the meeting is imperative, considering that without the people, politicians would have no one to serve.
He enjoined them to be patient as the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, encapsulated in the 8-point Agenda will ensure that the socio-economic aspirations of all citizens will be met.
Responding on behalf of the party faithfuls the Organizing Secretary, APC, FCT Chapter, Usman Adaji, praised the Minister’s humility and his open door policy which has made him easily accessible to all.
While pledging unalloyed support for the Minister’s future ambitions, Adaji enjoined the Minister to consider party members in terms of appointments. This was contained in a statement signed by Anastasia Ogbonna, Head, Press and Public Relations.
The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of a memorabilia to the Minister by Wuse Ward of the FCT.
Also, the Minister had a closed door session with a delegation of FCT Council of Chiefs led by the Chairman, the Ona of Abaji, HRH Adamu Baba Yunusa.
The Minister also played host to physically impaired sportsmen whom he has supported over the years to participate in sporting activities. They presented him with laurels won in different sporting tournaments.
