A two-year-old boy, Jaiangelis Stevenson, died after accidentally shooting himself at a caregiver’s home on Sunday.
According to New York Post on Tuesday, Jaiangelis, whose mother was working, was being watched by a family member when the shooting occured.
His aunt revealed that “We would actually call him ‘Blue’ because of his eyes,” she recalled of the youngster.
“He would be like ‘Hi, Ti Ti’ and he would be walking around with his little popsicle.”
The incident which took place at an apartment near Nellis Air Force Base, is being investigated by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police department as a possible result of abuse and neglect.
