The remains of popular Nollywood actor Charles Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu, have arrived Enugu State on Tuesday in preparation for his final burial.
Accompanied by family members, including his second son, and representatives from the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), the journey began from Lagos, where Mr Ibu passed away at the age of 62.
His demise marked the end of a celebrated career, known for his comedic talent and versatile acting.
Emeka Rollas, the National President of AGN, confirmed the sad news, expressing condolences and remembering Mr Ibu’s significant contributions to the Nigerian film industry. May his soul rest in peace.
