The Argentine forward Lionel Messi has been selected for the 2023 Ballon d’Or, the most prestigious individual award.
According to ‘Sport’, the votes have been counted, and Messi has comfortably won the award.
The Inter Miami striker, has already seven Golden Balls to his credit, more than anybody else in history. He is set to be recognized as the best player on the planet for the eighth time.
The name of the 2023 Ballon d’Or winner will officially be announced at a ceremony on October 30 in Paris. But the Argentine superstar has emerged as the favorite among the 30-man shortlist for the prize.
