An Indian man, Madivi Sathibabu, from Erraboru village in Cherla Mandal married two women who had kids for him, in the same ceremony, which was attended by the families of both brides.
The bridegroom performed the marriage rituals with the two women, Sunitha and Swapna.
Sathibabu and Swapna have been in love since their student days, and a baby girl was born out of wedlock during a live-in relationship. Swapna was a resident of Doshapalli village in Cherla Mandal.
Sathibabu was simultaneously in a relationship with his relative, Sunitha, of Karnepalli village, and the couple had a baby boy.
“Sathibabu’s first love, Swapna, objected to the move of her fiancé to marry another woman, but the matter was resolved after he declared to marry both ladies.
“Parents of the women too had no objection and decided to go ahead with the rituals,” a village elder said.
The groom then offered an easy solution after being confronted with the question of marriage by the families of the girls, to marry both of them.
