Permanent Secretary Ministry of Niger Delta Development (MNDD) Dr. Shuiab Belgore OON has stated that the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry and Keneva Consult Ltd is geared towards enhancing service delivery and creating public awareness that would help to improve economic activities within the Niger Delta Region (NDR). This was contained in a statement signed by Chindaya Ahmadu A. A, Director, Press and Public Relations.
Dr. Belgore made this statement during the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with proponents of the partnership in his office recently in Abuja.
The Permanent Secretary stated that the MOU which have received Ministerial approval, involved the Promotion of Niger Delta International Festival and Trade Expo; And Niger Delta Investment and Economic summit.
According to the Permanent Secretary, that the MOU is specific on what the different roles of each partner would be, adding that “but all in all, what the MOU is asking from the Ministry is support, in terms of opening the wall’s and image without any financial implications”.
The Managing Director Keneva Consult Ltd Amb. Kenule Boarido Nwiya jnr explained that the platform is to enhance the culture of the people, sustain the level of engagement, and promote developmental stride in the Niger Delta Region.
