The National Agricultural land Development Authority NALDA has conducted community farmers awareness advocacy for the establishment of NALDA farms in Kazaure local government area of Jigawa state.
The National Agricultural land Development Authority NALDA is a parastatal under the federal ministry of agriculture with the mandate to provide strategic public support for land Development
It is also to promote and support optimum utilization of Nigeria’s rural land resources for accelerated production of food
The Jigawa state coordinator Malan Bello Umar said the state has benefited from NALDA farms, Construction of tube wells, training of young farmers and women and flagged up of hundred hectres of wheat production in two locations among others
He appreciated the efforts of various stakeholders in seeing to the success of NALDA projects in jigawa state
Highlights of the program was conducted during a presentation on wheat farming by an expert Dr Karaye and an interactive session with farmers,youths and women organised by NALDA.
