Nasarawa Police Arrest Suspected Armed Robbers, Recover Stolen Vehicle

The officers of Nasarawa State Police Command have announced the arrest of four suspected armed robbers and recover a stolen vehicle.

In a statement issued on Sunday, by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP Ramhan Nansel, said Salim Hussaini, Abdulkadir Musa and Dimas Danja were arrested by operatives attached to the Mararaba ‘A’ Division, another suspect, Mohammed Aliyu Abubakar, was nabbed in the New Karu area.

According to the spokesman, a fabricated rifle, a knife and charms were recovered during the first operation while a blue Toyota Camry with registration number RBC 980 DA was recovered from Abubakar, a resident of the Mabushi area of Abuja.

He stated that the suspects have confessed to belonging to a gang of armed robbers terrorising the Mararaba and it environ.

Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, “has called on the owner of the stolen vehicle to visit New Karu Area Command with proof of ownership to claim the recovered vehicle”.
