Nigeria at 63; Groups Congratulate Nigerians For The Heights Attained; Urge Leaders to be More Focussed in Delivery of Basic Amenities.

The Universal Migration Enlightenment Centre and the Global Migration Research Institute in collaboration with Upriver Needys Empirical Solution Center, have sent a message of felicitation to Nigerians as they celebrate their 63rd Independence anniversary.

In the congratulatory message signed by the Executive Secretary, Universal Migration Enlightenment Centre, UMEC, Mr Barth Ikiebe, and the President, Global Migration Research Institute, GMRI, in Abuja, urged the political Leaders to be more sincere and focussed on delivering basic amenities towards a better life for the people.

“Nigeria has all it takes to be an independent, prosperous and industrialized nation with the abundant human and natural resources at its disposal”

Unfortunately, the country is bedevilled with serious Leadership problems that ought to have transformed and harnessed these potentials to fruition.

“It is our hope that the current administration will put workable strategies in place to achieve the dream of our forefathers by ensuring a peaceful, egalitarian and united country.

Similarly, we urge Nigerians to continue to support the government with prayers and good counsel to enable it to deliver on its promises as outlined in President Bola Tinubu’s eight point agenda under his Renewed Hope Initiative.

Furthermore, the groups advised the Youths to desist from acts capable of exposing them into danger and slavery in a foreign land.

“Let’s build the country of our dream together and salvage it, because Nigeria is richly blessed to cater for its citizens. Keep faith alive and be committed to making Nigeria a great nation. Congratulations and happy Independence anniversary!!!
