The Labour Party (LP) flagbearer, Peter Obi is leading in the results of the presidential election in five out of six local government areas of Delta State declared.
Raye24reporters reports that Labour Party is closely followed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the second and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the third position.
The state’s Collation Officer, Prof. Owunari Georgewill, the Vice-Chancellor, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers state announced the results on Sunday in Asaba, the Delta State Capital.
The results collated were from the following LGAs, Ika South, Ika North East, Aniocha North, Ethiope East and Oshimili North.
It was learnt that the Labour Party won in Ethiope East LGA, a stronghold of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) governorship candidate, Chief Great Ogboru, it didn’t win in Ika North East, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s local government area.
