A voter with two identities has been discovered at the polling unit of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
The former governor of Lagos State registered and voted at Ward 3, Polling Unit 85, Alausa, Ikeja.
However, a voter identified as Omoria Michael was found to have registered twice at the same polling unit.
According to Foundation for Investigative Journalism, Omoria registered at the unit with two different identities and photographs.
It was also discovered that two separate voter identification numbers were assigned to Omoria.
Giving a clarification on the issue, a Lagos-based lawyer, O. O Nwanni, said the situation is an electronic error.
According to him, it was a deliberate action and the voter might have done it for monetary purposes.
He said: “There is no way it could have been an electronic error. The essence of BVAS is for every voter to have a unique identification number.
The scenario that has just been described is just a clear case of a voter doing what he did for daily bread.
