Nigerian Airstrike Kills Notorious Bandit Leader, Dogo Umaru, 40 Others 

Dogo Umaru a notorious bandit kingpin, on Wednesday was killed by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter aircraft.

Umaru who was killed in an airstrike on Wednesday is one of the commanders loyal to wanted terrorist, Bello Turji.

According to NAF, the airstrike killed at least 40 other bandits near Tsamben Babare village in Katsina.

Umaru and his footsoldiers are responsible for attacks on Magama village in Jibia Local Government Area.

The recent attack carried out by Umaru and his men was an invasion that led to the death of the Magama Divisional Police Officer and a soldier injured.

It was gathered that one of the aircraft attacked the terrorists in successive passes, while the second targeted fleeing terrorists.

An Army intelligence officer that spoke with PRNigeria noted that security agencies have intensified operations in the North-West.

He said, “Strikes by a NAF aircraft and ground troops combat in Kaduna and Niger eliminated scores of terrorists near the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) and along Shadadi-Maundu last week.”
