A Senior Advocate of Nigeria and a Senior lecturer in the faculty of law in the Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, Prof Chukwu Amari Omaka, has been fingered in Plagiarism.
Our investigation shows that one Prof. Chukwu Amari Omaka(SAN), a lecturer in the faculty of law, Ebonyi State University Abakaliki, audaciously plagiarized the book titled – Human Rights in Africa, authored by Eseni Azu Udu and published by Mbeyi & Associates (Nig.) Ltd. 2011.
Prof. Chukwu Amari Omaka, (SAN), who reproduced the book in his acclaimed work titled – International Human Rights Law, which he published in 2012, barely a year after he had the privilege and honour of being the book reviewer during the public presentation of the book- Human Rights in Africa.
The acidic level of greed and kleptomaniac disposition of his, could not restrain him from embarking on such a despicable mission. This action Prof. Chukwu Amari Omaka (SAN) is to say the least, the height of human cruelty, breach of trust, ingratitude and academic corruption of the highest order.
Indeed, this is very shameful especially coming from a ‘professor of law’, a Senior Pastor of Redeem Christian Church of God , Ebonyi Province 2, Gate of Heaven Zonal Headquarters, Redemption Avenue, opposite EBBC, Abakaliki; and above all a ‘Senior Advocate of Nigeria'(SAN).
Prof. Chukwu Amari Omaka (SAN) brazenly appropriated copyright to himself without due referencing or even acknowledgement to the author.
Efforts to reach Professor Omaka for his own side of the story, have proved abortive.
