Nnamdi Kanu, the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has issued a fresh directive to members of the separatist group amid speculations about his possible release from detention.

Kanu, who is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), directed his followers to stay on course.

Raye24reporters understands that the IPOB leader gave the directive through his special counsel, Aloy Ejimakor.

In a post via his X handle on Thursday, Ejimakor noted that he received the directive from Kanu during his routine meeting earlier. He said the IPOB leader commended those who have impacted positively during his ongoing incarceration

“Update: I’ve concluded today’s visitation with Onyendu #MNK. In my company were Barr Mandela and Prince Emmanuel.

“MNK greets the faithful and loyal and directs that all should stay put and stay the course. He’s proud of those that have impacted positively and brought sanity to bear,” Ejimakor wrote on the microblogging platform.
