Nigeria social activist and the Convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, has taken a swipe at the three leading opposition parties in the country.
The three major opposition parties are the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP) and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
In a tweet via his Twitter page on Wednesday, Adeyanju said there is no difference between the opposition parties, saying that they are an offshoot of the PDP.
Adeyanju claimed that the three parties are the same political party with different branches.
He stated in terms of political ideology, only one or two political parties are different from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and PDP.
He wrote: “There’s no difference between PDP, Labour Party & NNPP. They are the same political party with different branches. One is PDP extra large, the other PDP large and the last PDP small. In terms of political ideology, only one or two political parties are different from APC and PDP.”
