A video on social media has shown supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi preparing for the “All Eyes on the judiciary” march.
Raye24reporters recalls that the Federal Government had ordered the removal of “All Eyes on the Judiciary” billboards nationwide.
The government also dissolved the Advertising Standard Panel (ASP) secretariat over its approval of the advert.
The Director-General of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria Dr Olalekan Fadolapo said that the advert was insensitive.
“The Advertising Standards Panel did not approve the exposed concepts; hence, the council has directed that all the exposed materials be brought down immediately and the violators sanctioned” he said.
Undeterred by the removal of the billboards, Obidients have announced their intention to begin an All Eyes On The Judiciary march to sensitize the public.
