Osinbajo Departs Nigeria to Liberia to Attend Bicentennial Celebrations 

Nigeria Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo will be in Monrovia, Liberia today to represent President Muhammadu Buhari at the launch of the year-long commemoration of the country’s Bicentennial Anniversary.

The VP departed Abuja this morning to join other leaders across Africa and beyond at the event scheduled to hold today at the Samuel K. Doe Stadium.

Osinbajo is accompanied to the event by the Minister of State, Foreign Affairs, Zubairu Dada and Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters, Adeyemi Dipeolu.

Before his expected return back to the country on Tuesday, February 15, Osinbajo will also attend other events on Monday in Monrovia as part of the national celebrations.
