Flood has reportedly submerged Gamayin communities in kafin Hausa local govt area of Jigawa state.
According to one of the communities spokesperson, Malam Ibrahim Musa Gamayin, mood houses were destroyed by water density of between seventy to eighty percent in the town
No lost of life but property worth million of naira have been washed away by water several farm land has been submerged.
Gamayin, confirmed that many families are now taking refuge at private building that were not taken over by flood situated in high lands.
Malam Ibrahim said many people slept under shades and two bags of garri that came from
the local government as a support to the victims.
He therefore call on the Jigawa state government to come to their aids lamenting that people in that communities are seriously suffering due to poor condition.
When contacting the deputy governor on phone Alhaji Umar Namaddi, he sympathised with the victims assured government support to the affected communities
