Pastor Kevin Osarodion Aigui, a former Chairmanship Aspirant of the People’s Demcratic Party PDP, in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State has congratulated Hon. Jerry Ehiwarior for clinching the party’s chairmanship ticket
Hon. Jerry clinched the party’s ticket in a primary election that was held at the party’s secretaries in Agbor, on Saturday.
In a statement made available to Raye24reporters, Pastor Kevin commended other aspirants who took the last-minute decision to relinquish their aspiration in support of Hon. Jerry Ehiwarior.
He said: “I congratulate Hon. Jerry Ehiwarior for his victory and emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Chairmanship candidate in Ika South Local Government Area. His victory is a testimony to his many years of good gestures in the state.
“I believe in the mandate, vision and commitment of our candidate in building a prosperous Local Government for all.
Hon. Jerry is tested and trusted to provide leadership in uniting us, solve security challenges, accelerate infrastructural development and grow our economy.
“Ever consistent in his thoughts and actions about the development of our local government, not many leaders in contemporary Nigeria are as detribalised as Hon. Jerry, whose heart accommodates every section of the state. I believe strongly that he will be a good leader that will give a listening ears to all.
“The outcome of this showed good spirit of sportsmanship and the support of the party’s critical stakeholders across the length and breadth of this state who loves the party above their personal interest. It is interesting and exciting how the exercise, which was held under a peaceful atmosphere, ended”.
“This victory is not for Hon. Jerry Ehiwarior alone. It is for our great party. It is for well-meaning indigenes of Ika South Local Government Area who aspire for a greater living standard which our candidate is poised to provide through his exceptional leadership skills and ability” he concluded.
