The Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Otukpo Township Ward 1 Chairman, Hon. Uloko George, who is a father of four beautiful kids and a young wife, was among the seven persons that were reportedly killed during a robbery attack incident that occurred on Friday, in Otukpo area of Benue State.
Hon. Uloko, who is known for his honest attitude and acts of benevolence in his ward, met his untimely death at UBA bank Otukpo.
According to our correspondent in Otukpo, Becky Olofu, the dreadful men of the underworld stormed Otukpo town at about 3:10 pm and operated for over an hour, without any response from the security operatives in the area.
Raye24reporters learnt that the robbers first attacked the Otukpo Police State and disarmed all the policemen before carrying out the robbery in banks, shooting indiscriminately.
The location of the banks which is very close to the major market in Otukpo, caused a huge stir in the town as traders were seen running for their lives.
Our correspondent, disclosed that the robbers used A Hilux vehicles, Toyota Matrix car and other vehicle to carry out the deadly robbery operation.
