PDP’s Adeleke Wins Polling Unit, Floors Gov. Oyetola 

The Peoples Democratic Party, governorship candidate in Osun State, Ademola Adeleke has won his polling unit in the ongoing guber election in the state.

Earlier, Raye24reporters, reported that Adeleke cast his vote at Unit 009, Ward 02, Abogunde/Sagba, Ede North in the state.

Adeleke defeated the current Governor of the state and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Gboyega Oyetola.

The PDP governorship candidate, Adeleke polled 218 votes in his polling unit on Saturday.

The state Governor, Oyetola polled 23 votes while Dr Akin Ogunbiyi of Accord Party had one vote.

In a related development, Senator Adeleke of the PDP gathered 47 votes at Polling Unit 05, Ward 07 in Ilesa West Local Government Area, while Oyetola polled 17 votes.

A total of 120 voters registered in the polling unit while 71 were accredited for the ongoing governorship election.

The total number of valid votes was 67 while four votes were voided.
