Peter Obi, a presidential candidate for the Labour Party, spoke in an interview on the need for Nigerian youths and people to choose a leader for their country who is capable of handling the country rather than being sentimental.
Speaking in the interview, Mr. Peter Obi added that as the general elections in 2023 get near, he had received warnings from others about the security of his life. Mr. Peter Obi responded that he was still moving and didn’t know when he would pass away from this world to those who were warning him.
In his words, “Everybody is saying to me, you’re not safe, they will kill you, they will do this, but I’m moving, I don’t know when I’m going to die”.
This was stated by Peter Obi as he recalled how he was on a flight to the UK when it appeared as though it might crash, but he maintained his composure.
He also advised many of his fans to refrain from taking risks in his name, claiming that his only goal was to retake Nigeria.
