The Labour Party (LP), Presidential Candidate Peter Obi, has opened up a massive lead in the presidential election results so far declared from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
According to the results of five area councils so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the former Governor of Anambra State is leading in all.
Obi is leading with 111,275 votes followed by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, who polled 61,306 votes.
While the standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, who polled 47,336 votes to come third in the election.
Daily Trust reports that the area council declared by the electoral body is that of Bwari, Gwagwalada, Kwali, Abaji, and Kuje Area Councils.
