Four of the five governors of the Peoples Democratic Party have held a meeting with the governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed on Wednesday.
According to Channels TV, the governors present include Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.
Wike and other governors in his camp have called for the exit of the national chairman of PDP, Iyorchia Ayu and expressed their unwillingness to work for the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 election.
