The Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, have nabbed a 52-year-old suspected kidnapper, Christopher Yaro.
Reports revealed that Yaro was arrested in the Ago-Iwoye area of the state.
According to the Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu, Yaro was implicated in the abduction of two reverend fathers in Pankshin LGA of Plateau State.
After fleeing to Ogun State, he sought refuge with a cousin in Ago-Iwoye town.
Alamutu stated that Yaro was later captured and admitted to his involvement in the crime.
“Further details would not be released for now to prevent jeopardising further investigation.
“Meanwhile, the Plateau State command has been contacted and it was confirmed that the suspect is on the police wanted list.
“Suspect will be handed over to the Plateau State command for further discreet investigation and prosecution,” Daily Trust quoted Alamutu saying.
