According to a source, “He beats her constantly despite several interventions from friends and neighbors alike. Yesterday evening, he gave her N500 to cook rice but the lady said she can’t cook because she was ill, and he started be#ting her again, even though she was pregnant with their 5th child.
Neighbors tried to stop him but he told them it’s a family matter, he dragged her into the house and kept hitting her.
When he realized she was no longer breathing, he dressed her up and covered her with a wrapper and tried to run away.
His little daughter, however, raised an alarm and he was caught and handed over to the police.
