Police Release Remains of late Bauchi APC Chairman, Musa Hussaini to Family

The corpse of the late Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi LGA, Musa Hussaini Gwabba, has been released to his family, by the Bauchi State Police Command on Tuesday after the completion of autopsy and other medical examinations at Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH).

The funeral prayers were held at the Gwallaga Jummaat mosque at about 10am with hundreds of sympathizers in attendance after which his remains was buried at the Muslim burial ground along Gombe road

Many eulogised the good characters of the late Musa Hussaini Gwabba describing him as an easy-going person who was nice to all who crossed his path.

One of his childhood friends who spoke to newsmen, said “The sad news came to me as a shock because I am still wondering what he could have done to deserve being killed”.

He further stated that, “though Allah knows what happened, we, his friends will ensure that justice is done and whoever has a hand in the circumstances that led to his death must be brought to face the full wrath of the law.

Aliyu Sani, who is also an associate of the  APC chairman, said that “this is a strange thing to happen in the history of Bauchi politics, just because someone stood by the truth, some people who are not comfortable with the new thing ganged up to kill him. Allah will expose them”.

He, however, called on the Bauchi State Police Command to ensure that all those fingered in the murder were apprehended and prosecuted no matter their status and position in society.
