The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has come under heavy attact for not attending the opening ceremony of the 62nd Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
The APC Vice presidential candidate and former Governor of Lagos State, Senator Kashim Shetima, represented his principal at the event on Monday.
Shettima, in his remark, called on Nigerians to vote for their joint ticket because of their achievements as governors in Lagos and Borno States.
The former Borno Governor said Tinubu would replicate at the federal level the achievements he recorded in Lagos, saying his principal would hit the ground running if elected into office in 2023.
However, some netizens have taken to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to slam the APC presidential candidate for sending his deputy to the event.
Below are some of the reactions.
