Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State, has disclosed the important role President Muhammadu Buhari will play in the 2023 campaign bid of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Gov Lalong who is the Director-General (DG) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential council, will speaking on Wednesday at the presidential villa in Abuja, noted that President Buhari is the chairman of the Tinubu presidential campaign council.
According to Lalong, he was at the Villa to brief the President about plans, developments and activities of the council in ensuring victory for Tinubu and the APC in the February 2023 elections.
He said, “the president is Chairman of the campaign council. Therefore, as DG, I will come regularly to brief him on certain things that we are planning.
“You know as DG of the campaign council I have to from time to time see the president who is our Chairman and keep him abreast of events.”
