A video of an officer of the Nigerian police force boldly demanding a bribe from road users has been shared online.
The officer unknown to him was filmed by road users on an expressway.
They encountered the police officer who openly asked them to give him ”better money”. According to the police officer, even his superior is aware that he collects money on the road.
He boldly told the road users that his superior told him to ensure he collect ”better money” so that when there is an issue, he can defend him.
According to him, the road is his ”market” while commuters are his ”customers”.
The police officer was armed and cared less about hiding his face while interacting with the road users.
