Italian pundit, Enrico Fedele has claimed Napoli striker Victor Osimhen lied about staying with the Serie A champions.
Osimhen scored 26 goals to help the club win the Scudetto for the first time since 1990.
The Super Eagles frontman is attracting attention from some of Europe’s top clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
But Osimhen claimed during the title celebrations that he would remain in Naples.
In an interview with Radio Marte, former sporting director Fedele said: “The Nigerian wants to stay in Naples, and he reiterated this at the Scudetto party, stating that the last word belongs to President Aurelio De Laurentiis?
“Many lies were told that evening, in my opinion: non-truths, because it was a party and he did not want to ruin the joyful atmosphere that had arisen.
“To ensure that Osimhen really stays in Campania, Napoli must give him ten million euros, because other clubs will offer over one hundred million euros for the price tag and the players ask, in proportion, to earn ten percent.”
