Sir Lanka Crisis heightens as Angry Citizens Beat Politicians, Police

The economic crisis in the South Asian country, Sri Lanka has escalated as citizens declare jungle justice on politicians.

Raye24reporters, gathered that the country has been in crisis lately, relating to fuel scarcity, unemployment, food shortage, energy shortage and more.

Riots in the country are understood to have started after a local green movement, the Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance, ESG organic farming beliefs were implemented into law.

Basic amenities become inaccessible to the citizens and food has become one of the major crises.

Reports emerging today revealed that angry citizens are currently attacking public office holders including security agents.

“Sri Lanka has completely collapsed, angry citizens pursuing and killing politicians and wealthy men in anger for food shortages, unemployment, energy shortage,” Daily Times Nigeria captioned in a video clip about the current happenings in Sri Lanka.
