Some moments ago, the Governor of Anambra state, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), took to his verified social media platform (Facebook) to admonish unknown gunmen about his administration’s plans for them.
The Governor said, “give (submit) your guns to us and get a meaningful life in return.” The Governor strongly promised that he will forge a meaningful life for illegally armed men in the forest if they surrender their arms.
Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo said he has already prayed and advised the indigenes of his state concerning the efforts he is making towards making the state peaceful.
Aside the end of the Monday sit-at-home order, the Governor said his next plan is to set up a Peace and Reconciliation Committee that will always address insecurity-related issues the state is facing.
He said the people of Anambra should always remember that their state is the ‘light of the nation’. He wishes that efforts are geared towards making the state the true light of Nigeria.
