The name Bukola Saraki could never and must never be ignored in the democratic development of Nigeria.
The Senior Saraki and his contribution in the sociopolitical development of Nigeria resurrected when Tarka’s son as he described himself, former Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Canada and Mexico and also Chairman, Consultation Committee for Bukola Saraki for president, in 2023, Prof. Iyorwuese Hagber and members of his committee visited the PDP Headquarters in Dutse.
Prof. Hagher who said, he is visiting and meeting the First Most Enlightened Group in Jigawa since when he began the visitation said, the state party chairman has made their job easier as they are meeting the members of the party first
before the Leader, Dr Sule Lamido con.
Speaking on why they were in the state, the former minister said, he was not ashamed of shouting ‘PDPEEEEEEE! louder because according to him, PDP built Jigawa state and Nigeria.
The Benue born politician listed some sterling leadership qualities of Dr. Senator Bukola Saraki,saying, “when finally Bukola assumed the leadership of Nigeria ,PDP is in Aso Rock and when PDP is in Aso Rock Nigeria is in Aso Rock and when Nigeria is in Aso Rock, you, pointing to the attendees delegates, you are in Aso Rock”.
Another member of the committee and former SDP Governor of Kwara state, Alh. Shaaba Lafiagi who spoke briefly said, one sure political attitude of Jigawa state he knew very is that, when they take a political stand, hardly to get them change that. I think here the former kwara Governor is referring to the Qualitative political
leadership/mentorship the Jigawa state is getting from the Political Leader,Dr sule lamido con.
A retired senior civil servant and a member of the committee, though not a politician, (as he claimed) Alhaji Ali Maigari expressed satisfaction on the turn out of the delegates which he observed was 100% an indication that Bukola is the candidate.
