Tinubu Donates N50 Million to Flood Victims in Jigawa

The presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has donate N50 million naira to Jigawa state flood victim.

The Emir made the call when the presidential candidate visited the state.

The Emir of Hadejia, Alhaji Adamu Abubakar Maje Haruna, who solicited for governor Badaru’s support for flood victim in the state, said the people are in serious hardship and poverty as the flood has render thousand of families homeless others losing their farm produce and even lost their relation.

The emir urged the governor to make more effort by bringing politician business mogul and Philanthropist to the state to assist the people, stating that the condition is very critical.

He confirmed that the assistance given to flood victims through Jigawa state governor Badaru Abubakar, is directly handed over to the Emirate council’s 

He assured that the money will be share judiciously among the five Emirate and will be given to the victims.

The emir charged the public to consider the flood as calamity from God and it is only him that will assist them.

The emir said the Emirates will discuss with members of the Emirates councils about how to share the financial support given to them for their victims.
